Buyer Protection — What ListQuikk Does and Does Not Cover

Some marketplaces hold your money until you confirm delivery. ListQuikk does not. We would rather tell you that plainly than let you assume otherwise and find out at the worst possible moment.

What ListQuikk is

ListQuikk is a classifieds platform. We host listings and let buyers and sellers find and message each other. Every transaction — the payment, the handover, the delivery — happens directly between the two of you, away from our platform.

What this means for you

We do not:

  • Process payments or hold funds in escrow
  • Offer refunds, chargebacks or purchase guarantees
  • Inspect, authenticate, test or value any item listed
  • Arrange, insure or track delivery
  • Verify that a seller owns what they are selling
  • Recover money that has already been transferred

If you send money to another user and they disappear, ListQuikk has no mechanism to get it back. This is why every page on this site tells you to pay in person, on collection, after inspecting the item.

What we do

These are real protections, and we take them seriously:

  • Listing moderation. Listings are reviewed before going live, and ones breaking our Listing Guidelines are rejected or removed.
  • Phone verification at signup. Every account is tied to a verified mobile number, which raises the cost of creating throwaway accounts.
  • Reporting and investigation. Reports go to our moderation queue with the conversation attached. We suspend accounts that defraud or abuse people.
  • On-site messaging. Conversations held on ListQuikk are reviewable evidence if a dispute arises.
  • Cooperation with authorities. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement investigating fraud.

How to actually protect yourself

In the absence of escrow, these habits are your protection — and they work:

  • Meet in person, in a public place
  • Inspect and test the item before any money changes hands
  • Pay on collection — never a deposit, never in advance
  • Keep the conversation on ListQuikk so there is a record
  • Walk away from pressure, and from prices that are too good to be true

If something goes wrong

Report the user through Report Abuse, keep all your evidence, contact your bank or wallet provider immediately, and file a complaint with the FIA Cybercrime Wing. We will investigate and act on the account — but the financial recovery route runs through your bank and law enforcement, not through us.
