Listing Guidelines

These rules exist so buyers can trust what they see. Listings are reviewed before they go live, and ones that break these guidelines are rejected or removed.

How listing approval works

  • When you post a listing it enters a pending state and is reviewed by our team before appearing publicly.
  • Once approved it becomes active and is visible to everyone, including search engines.
  • If it is rejected, the reason is shown on the listing in your dashboard. You can edit and resubmit.
  • Established sellers with a clean record may have their listings published immediately, at our discretion.

Listing expiry

Listings expire automatically after a set period (30 days by default) and stop appearing in search and browse. This keeps the marketplace current — nothing is more frustrating than contacting a seller about something sold months ago. You can repost an expired listing from your dashboard if the item is still available.

Writing a listing that gets approved

  • Use a specific, accurate title."Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB — Used" tells a buyer far more than "Phone for sale", and is what people actually search for.
  • Use your own photos of the actual item. Stock images, manufacturer renders and photos taken from other listings are not allowed. Show any damage honestly — it prevents wasted trips for both of you.
  • Describe the real condition.Include age, faults, what is included, and why you're selling.
  • Set a real price.Don't list at PKR 1 to appear in price-sorted results, and don't hide the price in the description.
  • Pick the right category and city. Miscategorised listings are harder to find and may be rejected.
  • One listing per item. Duplicate listings for the same item will be removed.

What you may not post

Listings in these categories are removed and may result in suspension:

  • Illegal goods — drugs, weapons and ammunition, stolen property, counterfeit or replica branded goods, pirated media or software
  • Regulated items — prescription medicines, medical devices, tobacco, alcohol, and anything else restricted under Pakistani law
  • Live animals where the sale would breach animal welfare law
  • Adult content or services of a sexual nature
  • Human body parts, organs or fluids
  • Personal or financial data — ID documents, account credentials, payment card details, contact databases
  • Financial schemes— investment offers, lending, multi-level marketing, cryptocurrency trading schemes, "get rich quick" offers
  • Hazardous materials — explosives, toxic chemicals, radioactive material
  • Anything you do not have the right to sell

Content rules

  • No misleading, exaggerated or false claims about an item
  • No hate speech, harassment, threats or discriminatory language
  • No keyword stuffing — repeating unrelated brand names to game search
  • No contact details, external links or prices embedded in images
  • No listings whose real purpose is advertising an unrelated business
  • No impersonating another person, business or brand

Why a listing gets rejected

The most common reasons, in order:

  • Photos that aren't of the actual item
  • Prohibited or regulated item
  • Wrong category
  • Title or description too vague to be useful
  • Price that clearly isn't the real asking price
  • Duplicate of an existing listing

The specific reason appears on the listing in your dashboard. Fix it, resubmit, and it will be reviewed again.

Reporting a listing that breaks these rules

If you see a listing that shouldn't be here, please report it. Moderation depends heavily on users flagging what we haven't caught. See also Terms of Service for the full contractual rules.
