Seller Verification Explained
Some ListQuikk sellers show a verified badge. It is worth understanding precisely what that badge means — and, just as importantly, what it does not.
Phone verification — every account
Every ListQuikk account is created with a mobile number confirmed by a one-time code. You cannot register without receiving and entering that code.
This makes throwaway accounts more costly to create and gives us something to act on when an account is suspended. It does notconfirm anyone's identity, address, or that they own what they are selling.
The verified badge — selected accounts
A verified badge is granted manually by the ListQuikk team. It is not automatic, it cannot be purchased, and it is not awarded for volume of listings alone.
We apply it to accounts with a consistent, established track record on the platform and no substantiated reports against them. We remove it if that changes.
What the badge does not mean
This is the part that matters. A verified badge is not:
- A guarantee that any particular item is genuine, working or as described
- An endorsement of the seller by ListQuikk
- Insurance, escrow, or any form of financial guarantee
- Confirmation of legal identity, business registration or tax status
- A reason to skip inspecting the item or to pay in advance
Treat a verified seller exactly as carefully as any other seller. Meet in person, inspect the item, and pay on collection. The badge is a weak positive signal, not a substitute for your own judgement.
Other signals worth reading
The badge is one input among several. On a seller's profile you can also see:
- How long they have been on ListQuikk
- How many active listings they have
- Ratings and written reviews left by other users
A seller who answers specific questions about an item, agrees to meet publicly and lets you inspect before paying is telling you more than any badge can.
How to become verified
There is no application form. Build a genuine track record: post accurate listings that follow our Listing Guidelines, describe items honestly, respond to buyers, and complete deals cleanly. Our team reviews accounts periodically.

Reporting a verified seller
The badge offers no protection from reports. If a verified seller behaves fraudulently, report them through Report Abuse— we investigate these with particular priority, because a misplaced badge damages everyone's trust.
